Bernardaud, Versailles Enchanté, Soup tureen
Bernardaud's Versailles Enchanté dinnerware collection pays tribute to the resplendent Palace of Versailles with an opulent and festive dinner service, capturing the essence of the luxurious parties held during the reign of King Louis XIV. Inspired by the "Fêtes de l'Ile Enchantée," a six-day extravaganza thrown for the queen and her mother, the collection evokes the enchanting atmosphere of the celebrations attended by a select 600 guests. The limited guest list was due to the castle's original size, which forced many attendees to reside in their carriages during the festivities. The Versailles Enchanté dinnerware brings to life the palace's exquisite gardens and the grand spectacles of the events. Each plate boasts a unique motif, showcasing different elements of the Versailles landscape and the festive ambiance. The various plate sizes and designs can be mixed and matched to create a truly captivating table setting.
