MDMAISON is a curated multi-brand retailer of fine tableware, crystal and decorative pieces for the home, with over 18 years of experience and clients around the world. You can always reach a real person through our Contact page by phone, email or WhatsApp, where we are happy to answer your questions right away. Every order is paid for over a secure, encrypted connection and ships fully insured. Your purchase is protected from checkout to your door.

Orders & Payment

Is my payment secure?

Yes. All payments are processed over a secure, encrypted connection using the 3D Secure protocol, and we never store your card details. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and UnionPay, as well as bank transfer for larger orders. For certain orders we may also send you a secure payment link, which lets you complete payment safely without entering your details on the site.

Authenticity

Are your products authentic?

Every item we sell is 100% genuine and brand new, and we never sell replicas, copies or seconds. We are an authorised retailer for many of the brands we carry, and all our pieces are sourced through established luxury trade channels, with the manufacturer's guarantee where applicable.

The colour or finish looks slightly different in real life. Is that normal?

Many of our pieces are handcrafted, mouth-blown or hand-painted, so slight variations in colour, finish and dimensions are natural and a hallmark of authenticity, not a defect. If you would like additional photographs of a specific piece before ordering, simply contact us.

Shipping & Delivery

Where do you ship, and what does delivery cost?

We ship worldwide. Shipping is complimentary on all orders over €1,000. For orders under €1,000, shipping is calculated by destination and provided upon order confirmation.

When will my order be dispatched?

In-stock items are dispatched within 3–5 business days. Made-to-order pieces generally require between 4 and 12 weeks, depending on the manufactory; we confirm the exact lead time with you immediately upon order placement.

How do I track my order?

As soon as your order ships, you will receive an email with a tracking number to follow your delivery with the carrier.

How are fragile items packaged?

Every order is carefully packed in secure, protective packaging designed for international transit; for particularly fragile or valuable pieces we use bespoke crating. Wherever you are, your order ships with care and is fully insured. For large or high-value orders, we will be in touch to coordinate delivery with you.

Customs & Import Duties

Do I need to deal with customs, and who pays import duties?

We take care of all customs clearance for you, coordinating directly with carriers and brokers. There is nothing for you to arrange, beyond providing a few details if we request them. Import duties and taxes are set by the destination country, and you can choose how they are handled:

  • Standard delivery: duties are payable by you on arrival. Our designated carrier will send you a secure payment link directly; once it is settled, your order is delivered to your door.

  • Fully delivered (duties paid): if you prefer not to deal with the carrier, we can clear customs and pay the duties on your behalf, and simply send you a single secure payment link from us. Your order then arrives with everything taken care of.

Either way, we will give you an estimate of the likely duties before dispatch, so there are no surprises.

Pricing & Charges

Are there any hidden charges?

There are no hidden fees from us. The price covers your item, with complimentary shipping on orders over €1,000. Where import duties apply, we will estimate them for you in advance; you can then either settle them directly with our carrier on arrival, or ask us to handle everything for you and pay them on your behalf. Either way, you will always know what to expect before your order is delivered.

Damaged or Faulty Items

What if something is wrong with my order?

Your satisfaction matters to us. If an item arrives damaged, faulty, or differs from what you ordered, we will put it right with a replacement or refund at no cost to you. Please retain the item and all packaging, including the outer box, and contact us at info@mdmaison.com within 48 hours of delivery with photographs.

Product Care

How do I care for my purchase?

Each piece is supplied with care guidance, and we provide care notes by material so your purchase lasts for years. As a general guide, hand-wash crystal and any china with gold or platinum detailing; for everyday porcelain, use a gentle dishwasher cycle with a non-abrasive, non-citrus detergent.

Trade, Large Orders & Bespoke

I am an interior designer, or buying on behalf of a client (family office, personal assistant).

We work regularly with interior designers, family offices and personal assistants, with a dedicated contact, trade terms and worldwide white-glove delivery, including a fully delivered, duties-paid option. We are happy to sign NDAs. Please contact info@mdmaison.com.

Yes. Sourcing rare and archive pieces and assembling complete services is a core part of what we do. Tell us what you are looking for and we will respond within 48 hours, at no obligation.
