Cristallerie de Montbronn
In the realm of Greek mythology, the titan Prometheus played a pivotal role as the creator of humanity, the bringer of fire, and the progenitor of all arts and techniques. It was through the use of a hollow ferula rod that he cunningly stole the sacred fire and bestowed it upon the human race. The gift of fire, with its remarkable combustive properties, allowed men to forge their earliest tools and lay the foundation for civilization.

About CRISTALLERIE DE MONTBRONN
At Cristallerie de Montbronn, the human hand is considered their most indispensable tool. More specifically, the skilled hands of their master craftsmen, whose unparalleled expertise breathes life into their creations. Just as Prometheus' myth revolves around fire, so does the art of crystal making, with fire being the catalyst that transforms the raw material. At a scorching temperature of 1200°C, the molten material forms a radiant sphere that is meticulously shaped into exquisite pieces.
The tale of Cristallerie de Montbronn commences in 1930 when Joseph Louis Ferstler, an ardent admirer of crystal, ignited a passion that he would later pass down to his two sons, Alain and Gérard Ferstler. In 1977, the siblings assumed the reins of the family business. From its inception, the crystal factory flourished within the modest confines of the quaint Lorraine village of Montbronn, playing a pivotal role in shaping what is now known as the "Vallée du Cristal". Passion and productivity emanated from the company's walls, and by 1960, it employed over 100 dedicated and crystal-loving workers.
A new milestone was reached in 2007 when the Cristallerie de Montbronn was honored with the EPV (“Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant”) label, recognizing the company's exceptional craftsmanship. The following year, they secured the "Stars et Métiers" award in the "Dynamique commerciale" category. These accolades hold great significance for the team, and they wear them with immense pride and honor.
Since 2016, the factory has been under the stewardship of Frédéric Muller, who is joined by his wife Gabrielle and their daughter Camille. Together, the family brings ambition and a commitment to excellence, steering Cristallerie de Montbronn towards an even brighter future.
A team of around twenty skilled artisans perpetuates the esteemed legacy of the company, infusing their ever-evolving techniques into the creation of innovative new collections. This fusion of tradition and innovation has earned Cristallerie de Montbronn a distinguished international reputation, as well as the unwavering trust of its esteemed clientele. These collaborative efforts contribute to the ongoing evolution and progress of the luxury industry.
Cristallerie de Montbronn boasts an expansive range of 13 colors in layered crystal, a palette that continues to grow. Each collection exemplifies the timelessness of crystal, featuring designs that range from intricate to minimalist.
In the final stage of production, every piece undergoes stringent quality control measures, followed by attentive and meticulous packaging. Only then do their creations leave their workshops, destined for delivery to discerning customers around the world.
