Daum, Fleur de Paon Exotique, Centrepiece

This piece goes through seven stages of production spending over 10 days in the kilns for the bowl and 8 days for the small vase before entering the finishing stages. The careful application of the blue along the edges of the pieces is achievable only through the lost-wax technique and the outstanding skill of the craftsmen in Daum’s workshops.
