Hémisphère White Satin
The Hémisphère White Satin dinnerware collection by J.L Coquet is a perfect example of delicate, pure and durable craftsmanship. Made from Limoges porcelain it is a true icon of French design and a favourite in Michelin-starred restaurants around the world.
Known for its elegance this collection appeals to lovers of fine dining. Its most distinctive feature is the hand-drawn grooves on the matte borders which surround the shiny glazed centres giving the pieces a unique character reminiscent of a planet’s rings. Each item in the collection has its own shape and style, but all are part of the signature Hémisphère look. This is more than just dinnerware—it’s a timeless piece of art that brings sophistication to both special occasions and everyday meals.
The creation of J.L Coquet Hémisphère White Satin starts with porcelain paste that is carefully matured over three months in the workshop’s cellars to ensure its bright white finish and high quality. Each piece is crafted using around 20 precise steps including special hand-drawn grooves that are protected by a strong mineral coating. This provides durability while preserving the porcelain’s soft biscuit-like texture. Scratch-resistant microwave-safe, and dishwasher-friendly, the collection is both practical and luxurious.
Every piece is proudly made in the J.L Coquet workshop in Haute-Vienne, France and holds the prestigious "Porcelain from Limoges" label. Since 2010, J.L Coquet has also been recognised with the French Living Heritage label highlighting its long-standing commitment to quality, tradition and beautiful design.
