Hering Berlin, Obsidian, Bread and butter plate

The Obsidian dinnerware collection from Stefanie Hering by Hering Berlin is unique and modern, changing porcelain making. China features dark black and matte white designs. The plates have smooth, unglazed edges and shiny black inside. The special black glaze, fired at high temperatures, varies in shade. Hering Berlin developed this unique glaze with artisans, applied by hand, creating varying layers and shades from grey to deep black.
