The World of Lalique Lighting

Lalique has a rich legacy in lighting design, starting with René's light columns and chandeliers for the SS Normandie back in 1935. Today, the Maison continues this focus across collections like Champs-Élysées, Perles, Orgue, Hirondelles, and Caldera. That makes Alizé Lighting feel less like a new direction and more like a modern continuation of a long tradition of working with elegant glass, light, and interior space.

Unlike French crystal houses such as Baccarat and Saint-Louis, which often draw on traditional aesthetics, intricate cuts, and classic decorative details, Lalique emphasizes relief, frosted surfaces, and sculptural character. The Alizé Lighting Concept

Now available for sale, the new Air collection introduces an unusual theme for the brand: air and weightlessness. The design concept turns the invisible into something tangible, expressing movement and lightness through fluid shapes and clear art glass.

Air Chapter I centered on decorative accents, while Air Chapter II is dedicated to luxury crystal lighting and decor. Chapter II Air Alizé Light retains the collection’s main visual motifs of flowing fabric, pleating, wavy relief, and the play of glossy and satin crystal, expressing them not only through form and light refraction, but also through shadow and architecture.

To achieve a more artistic, gallery-worthy look, the signature crystal glass is paired with high-end materials and subtle touches of satin nickel, satin-gilded metal, walnut wood, and fine leather.

Collection Lineup

A diverse palette of Alizé Lighting by Lalique spans small classic accent pieces to expansive arrangements for large interiors, with ceiling models that can be arranged into tailored lighting clusters.
