Incredible Decorative Details

The form and decor of each piece depend on the material and its useful meaning. For example, the Or d’Abeille champagne flutes and all other glassware represent a hand-blown glass bowl. The stem, however, is more sculptural, made of colored pâte de cristal. It features the body of open bee wings. The cutlery handles have similar constitutions.

The crystal glass charger plates have the form of an open flower. You can see the same daisy petals with a gold rim on the white Limoges surface. Tabletop accessories, such as the Or d’Abeille trays, have silver-plated honeycomb silhouettes with a thematic link to the floral glass ornaments.
