Neo double old fashioned

Designed by Martino Gamper, who is known for his curiosity and radical experimentation, Neo is a contemporary tumbler with a unique ornament. This simple double old fashioned whiskey tumbler undergoes a transformation through cutting, engraving, polishing, sandblasting, hand-painting, gilding and lustre painting. 

"I wanted to take on the challenge of creating a contemporary ornament using traditional Lobmeyr techniques", says Gamper. The project was part of the 2016 Vienna Design Week Passionswege project.

Each one-off prototype is signed and comes with a custom design presentation object. There are 54 single variations, organized into nine families, produced to order. A separate line sheet is available upon request and Lobmeyr has selected some for regular production.
