Still water by Nic Fiddian Green

Still Water collection is a collaboration between British sculptor Nic Fiddian-Green and Lalique. It is a series of sculptures that show horses bending over water. Each sculpture in this collection is made with great attention to detail with using of the lost wax technique. Each pieces are made from amber crystal and it takes hundreds of hours to create one. 

Horses from this collection look very realistic thanks to a special coating that gives the crystal a texture similar to real velvety skin. This technique makes these sculptures look even more lifelike.
