Bernardaud, Silva, Dessert plate
The Bernardaud Silva dinnerware collection mixes shapes from both geometry and flowers, putting in soft silver and platinum highlights that stand out a lot on Bernardaud's very white Limoges porcelain. The name of the collection, Silva, comes from the Latin word for forest, which kind of sends out a poetic feel about trees, the big bosses of the forest. It's almost like it's inviting you to come closer and really see the beauty of nature: the detailed lines on leaves and the fancy designs of plant fibers that decorate the edges of the plates, sometimes appearing in white on white or with platinum highlights. Silva is very smart in its design, practical but also fun, fashionable and yet timeless.
