Bengalis
Inspired by the celebrated aviary of Madame de Pompadour, the design pays tribute to one of the most influential patrons of the decorative arts in 18th-century France. The Bengalis collection in limoges porcelain by Robert Haviland & C. Parlon is a decoration of remarkable delicacy.
Madame de Pompadour played a decisive role in supporting the development of the royal porcelain manufacture that would later become the renowned Sèvres Porcelain Manufactory. Through her patronage, French porcelain rose to international prominence, rivaling the finest creations from Japan, China, and Saxony.
Its refined pattern, adorned with birds and subtle botanical elements, recalls the elegance of the original decorative schemes developed during the golden age of French porcelain. The soft, nuanced color palette echoes the distinctive tones perfected by the Sèvres workshops.
Crafted in Limoges with exceptional attention to detail, the Bengalis collection embodies both a harmonious blend of artistry, tradition, and the excellence of Limoges porcelain.
